Research has shown that the vast majority of women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI) select initial treatment based on invasiveness.1 These women are searching for a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment that is safe and offers rapid recovery. They expect an improvement in quality of life, not necessarily a cure.
This dinner meeting focuses on a new treatment option for SUI—Renessa®, a non-surgical treatment that can be performed in a physician’s office or other outpatient setting. Results of two US multicenter clinical trials show that 12 months after treatment with Renessa:
76% of patients reported a reduction in incontinence episodes; approximately half of those were dry2
69% demonstrated ≥50% reduction in leaked volume on pad stress test3
58% of women eliminated the need for pads,4
and 45% leaked ≤1gr during pad stress test3
